"I'm pretty sure everyone pulled a Hartman this morning."--Amber (Whiteland Warrior)

The morning started off with a rocky intertidal zone lab. Aside from a really large wave that almost took out a few kids, the lab was pretty successful. After the lab, several snorkeled along the Hapuna coastline and some were lucky enough to spot the turtle which can be seen on video. Once back to HPA, the kids ate and started to study for their quiz for the day. Seeing that the kids needed a study break, Ms. Hartman thought it would be appropriate to show off some of her mad dancing skills and teach them how to dougie. This can also be viewed via video :) Class consisted of mariculture, estuarine and coastal marsh communities, marine pollution, and deep sea hydrothermal vents. During free time at night, the kids were able to see Just Go With It. Good flick.
